EXCELLENT rating
Based on 126 reviewsVerified Trip to Panama We booked a 5 day tour with Katia, covering the Panama Canal, San Lorenzo, a city tour of Panama City and a trip to the Monkey Island and Sloth sanctuary as well as airport pick up and drop off. Everything was scheduled on time and Katia is very friendly yet professional and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the time in Panama - thanks Katia! Dips N2024-12-26Verified Sonny island , Panama City My family recently booked a tour with Katya to visit Sonny Island in Panama. She was highly responsive and maintained excellent communication with us via email and WhatsApp, right up until we returned from the island. The journey to the island took about two hours. The resort on Sonny Island, though simple and clean, offers a charming and unique experience. It features two beautiful, small beaches, and the atmosphere feels reminiscent of a summer camp—but set on a stunning tropical island. While it’s not a luxury destination like the Four Seasons, it is absolutely worth a visit.Based on my experience, I would recommend staying for 2–3 nights to fully enjoy the island. Knowing this, I would have opted for an overnight stay rather than a day trip. Our return journey was challenging due to rough waters, so I suggest bringing motion sickness medication and being prepared for potentially choppy conditions.Overall, the experience with Katya was outstanding, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her services. YYZtravellerToronto2024-12-23Verified Return to Panama The services were outstanding! Kat’s tour planned out several day trips for us and picked us up on time jorgemjuarez2024-04-25Verified Kats Panama tour Kat is knowledgeable, professional, friendly, accommodating-amazing. She is so friendly. Best tour guide in all of my years of international travel courtneyloflin2024-04-23Verified EXCELLENT and WONDERFUL Fantastic host while in Panama. She is exceptionally knowledgeable and accommodating with her time and her hospitality. She not only is able to tell you the touristy things but can give you a view of Panama as a Panamanian. I always felt as though I was the only person she was working for and a part of her family. I would recommend her highly and if I am ever again in Panama, she will be the first person I call. Eman02692023-08-21Verified Great Tour Operator Katia took us on the City & Canal tour and also provided airport transportation for us. She is a great tour operator, always on time, and a safe driver. She is very knowledgeable and pleasant to be with. We would highly recommend Kats Tours. patriciaddavisaz2023-08-14Verified I can’t say enough good things My friends and I recently traveled to Panama City for the first time, where we were introduced to Kat. In addition to being very nice and professional, Kat took us throughout the city, explaining the incredible history of the Canal and the people who lived and worked on it. She also took us on a tour of the rainforest, and with her knowledge of the ecosystem of the country, she even followed the sound of a toucan so that we would get our wish of seeing one! If you want a rich experience while in Panama, please connect with Kat- you’ll be glad you did! Mersiha A2022-05-27Verified Best tour guide in Panama I booked with Katia at the recommendation of family in Panama who provided great feedback. Not only did she arrange for pickup and drop offs, provide commentary, and recommend the best things to do - she also went above and beyond to make our short stay in Panama memorable.1.) I wanted to see toucans in gamboa , and unfortunately did not spot any. Katia drove us nearby a location that frequently has them, listened out for their bird call and low and behold! I got to see the majestic animal!2.) She helps us to locate the neighborhood in which my grandfather grew up with nothing more than a few markers and landmarks. It was truly special.3.) Stopped at a local shop to get some fresh fruits and snacks after a long day.I would recommend Katia highly to anyone traveling to Panama City and beyond . She knows the country well, history of the canal and neighborhoods and genuinely loves what she does. 5+++ stars!!! I can’t wait until my next trip as I will be connecting with her for assistance. Khiara H2022-05-11Verified Absolutely the Best! Katia made our trip to Panama so enjoyable, I couldn't have asked for a better tour guide. We received prompt pick up from the airport and took several day tours with her leading us around. She was super informative about Panama City and her delightful personality made it a joy to be around her. She helped us arrange in-hotel covid tests for our return to the US which was very convenient, and she was a huge help to us when some of our group unexpectedly had to stay one day longer due to illness. I would definitely recommend hiring her for a trip, she exceeded all our expectations. Laura S2022-03-26Verified Katia is the best! I arrived alone with my child to meet my husband who was in Panama for work, and Katia made me feel so safe! She was there at the airport as soon as we walked out of Customs. She was so knowledgeable and passionate about her country! She arranged our tour of the Panama Canal, which was wonderful, and she took us to the tour and picked us up from it. The next day, we dropped by another tourist site in the old city, and she was there giving a tour to another group. She was great and was very fairly priced! I would highly recommend! harveythemush2020-02-11
